Life is a delay, with vibrato and tremolo sections, which can also operate in mid-side mode. With options for creating subtle movement and shimmer to bouncy ‘phasey’ delays.
Sometimes when we’re mixing or writing music, we are looking for something to give a track a little lift, other times we need to take a sample and give it a bit of sweetening, to make it fit properly with the rest of the mix. This is where Life stems from, being able to add a little bit of magic and movement to a track makes it come alive that little bit more. Need to double tracked guitars and want them to sound as if they were played separately without a standard delay or a uniformly applied pitch adjustment, Life can take a mono guitar and send it to both left and right, applying small amounts of pitch and amplitude modulations to make them sound uniquely recorded and more importantly filling up the mix.

SWAM-S stands for Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling – Strings. Differently from SWAM, sound is generated by pure Physical Modeling, so there are no samples at all. We have performed an in-depth study of the Physical Modeling techniques, especially the Digital Waveguides Synthesis by prof. Julius O. Smith. Using this technique, adding new elements and performing an unceasing fine-tuning, we have built the best modeled Bowed Strings virtual instruments on the market, allowing the real-time control of bow speed, bow pressure, bow position, vibrato, portamento, harmonics, tremolo, pizzicato, and many other parameters in a realistic way, almost indistinguishable from the real instrument.
This collection is comprised of two instruments, the Clarinet and the Bass Clarinet. These instruments exploit our proprietary technology, the SWAM engine – Synchronous Wave Acoustic Modeling. Range for the Clarinet: Chromatic from Bb1 – G5 in C Concert. Transposing three semitones down allows a fingering range from Low E when transposed in the Orchestral Key of A concert. Range for the Bass Clarinet: Chromatic from A1 – Bb5 in C Concert. Transposing two semitones down to Bb makes this equivalent to a Professional Bass Clarinet extended to Low C. Transposing seven semi tones Places the instrument in the Basset Horn key allowing a fingering range from Low E2 to F6 when transposed in its natural orchestral Key of F concert.
