ADD MetaPlugin v1.6.1 FIXED WiN KGEN ONLY
Metaplugin is a plugin that loads other plugins. As simple as that. Build your own effect networks using any VST effect you already have on your harddisk. To get you started, a Mid-Side matrix and a fourband crossover filter are included in the package. This means instant mid-side or multiband compression/distortion/reverb/… you name it. Metaplugin supports up to six individual channels for, e.g. surround or other multichannel purposes.
Sometimes you just don’t want to spend much time on finding the ideal EQ settings (and, with beasts like IIEQPro and LP10, you can easily lose yourself in all the options), but just turn a knob and know it will sound right, because someone else has figured out the most musical response for you. In the case of the 6144, this person has been the designer of the Neve Portico 5033, which was the role model for this software EQ. Hats off to the man! Unique gain-Q-interaction and custom made low- and high shelf filters make sure you can apply even extreme settings without getting harsh or muddy results. Add a little bit of saturation for that extra warmth, et voila! There you go…
The Strip is the essential channel strip: the finest EQ, gate and compressor bundled in one beautifully designed plugin. Just slam this baby onto every channel in your project (which you easily can, because of its low CPU usage) and you’re all set.
IIEQ Pro CM is an all-purpose EQ, whereas LP10 is focused more on mastering, offering linear phase and variable phase operation. The plug-ins are based on DDMF’s highly regarded IIEQ Pro and LP10 plugins.
DDMF has announced that the ColourEQ equalizer VST/AU plugin for Windows and Mac is now available as freeware.
DDMF says that when it was created a few years ago ColourEQ featured unique frequency response curves unavailable in other EQs. Recently, most of these curves have been integrated into DDMF’s all-round workhorse IIEQPro, and for the future DDMF wants to concentrate all efforts on the further development of their more complex products.
LinComp is a linear phase multiband compressor, a tool that belongs in every mastering chain. Multiband compression allows you to take care of the levels and response times of four frequency bands independently, and the linear phase crossover guarantee that all this happens with no damage done to the audio whatsoever.
